Step 1: You need two items to make fire… from nothing.

  1. An empty Bic lighter
  2. Toilet paper

Step 2: Lay out some toilet paper and scrape the wheel part up against flint, but without making a spark.

Step 3: Tap the lighter against the table on top of the toilet paper to get all the dust from the flint out on to the paper.

Step 3: Once you have enough of a dust pile. Use the toilet paper to pinch all the dust into the same spot, then just fold and roll.

Step 4: Now use your empty lighter to spark it, you’ll see the flash soon enough.
