Prepare and protect our loved ones for when disaster strikes.<\/p>\n<p>So preparing a plan in advance is one of the crucial elements to our success at doing this.<\/p>\n<p>If being prepared for emergencies was ever important. Protecting your family is as important as it gets.<\/p>\n<p>Keeping them safe is a priority. Do you have a good plan and strategy to do so when SHTF?<\/p>\n<p>Without one, chaos tends to occur in an emergency. Which of course makes everything much worse. Panic sets in. A snowball of issues spins off the core emergency as a result of not being prepared.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s why we put together this for you. It&#8217;s just as important to prepare for psychological harm as well. That&#8217;s the main reason to be prepared. It will eliminate the panic factor.<\/p>\n<p>Panic comes from getting into a possibly life-threatening situation and not knowing what to do. Not being prepared. If you&#8217;re not prepared, you don&#8217;t necessarily have any confidence on what to do first or last. Your mind will start racing thoughts that will produce more panic and chaos. A strategic emergency plan will prevent all of this. You&#8217;ll know exactly what to do first and second. There will be minimal panic. And you&#8217;ll be confident to do what needs to be done for survival. Not to mention save a tremendous amount of time because you&#8217;re not trying to figure out what to do in a state of panic. And in an emergency, every second count.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Your_Plan_Starts_With_Preparation\"><\/span>Your Plan Starts With Preparation<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Keep and maintain contact information of you and your family members. So anyone who sees them would know exactly who you are and how to contact you. This includes any medical information anyone else should know. Any medicines, disabilities, and handicaps. Be as detailed as possible so anyone could see the information and understand what to do or what not to do.<\/p>\n<p>If you or any of your family members have medical issues, have a plan for what to do if you don&#8217;t have the regular equipment for their needs. Have spares in your vehicle or elsewhere. Have other methods for caring for them no matter where you end up.<\/p>\n<p>Your plan should include strategies and methods for different emergency case scenarios. Have strategies in place for communication if cell phones don&#8217;t work. How would you contact people off the grid?<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Family_Emergency_Supplies\"><\/span>Family Emergency Supplies<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Have a small and simple emergency supplies kit that&#8217;s easily accessible. This kit should include food, water, basic first aid, and lighting. If you have to bring your family to a shelter that doesn&#8217;t have utilities. You&#8217;ll need to live off the land. Good ole hunting and growing your own food will be a priority.<\/p>\n<p>As well as medical care and safety skills. Such as CPR and preventing or putting out a fire. Nothing you can&#8217;t handle.<\/p>\n<p>If an emergency happens, you&#8217;ll want to know exactly how to evacuate with your family. Know exactly where to go and how to get there. Have the plan ready and accessible. Have all your supplies. Have the route plan carved in stone.<\/p>\n<p>There can be no guesswork or confusion when it comes to the safety of you and your family.<\/p>\n<p>Those guidelines will give you a solid plan for emergencies. After your plan is done. The next thing you want to do is prepare by practicing. Go over a couple of scenarios with your family. Act as if an emergency is happening and you need to evacuate.<\/p>\n<p>Every family member might not see the benefits of doing a drill or two. But if an emergency does happen, they will thank you for doing a couple of practice runs for the real deal. The most common emergency in a home would be a fire. So doing a practice drill for a fire emergency first would be ideal.<\/p>\n<p>Doing a couple of drills will have many benefits. One of the most important reasons to do one is that by doing an emergency drill. Any flaws in your plan will be revealed.
