It&#8217;s just like a paracord pouch if you ever made one of those. Then put the rubber band around the can, pencil, and paracord so the pencil and cord are securely fastened to the can.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"howto-step-5f1cc206a97a6\" class=\"rank-math-step\">\n<h3 class=\"rank-math-step-title \"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Wrap_and_Weave\"><\/span>Wrap and Weave<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<div class=\"rank-math-step-content \"><p>Then you&#8217;re going to start wrapping your paracord around the can and pencil. You want to wrap in a zig-zag fashion around the can. Leave about a half an inch between the sections of the weave. Keep making these half-inch sections all the way around to the bottom.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"howto-step-5f1cc206a97a7\" class=\"rank-math-step\">\n<h3 class=\"rank-math-step-title \"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Tie_a_Stopper_Knot\"><\/span>Tie a Stopper Knot<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<div class=\"rank-math-step-content \"><p>Keep going until you reach the center of the can. When you do, tuck the cord inside the weave and that&#8217;s where you&#8217;ll tie a stopper knot (see <a href=\"https:\/\/thesurvivaljournal.com\/knots\/#Stopper_Knots\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">how to tie a stopper knot<\/a>).
