If an emergency strikes, you must be prepared to defend yourself.
In many situations, you will need defense skills and tools to save your life and the life of those close to you.
The goal of our article is to teach you about the survival defense weapons you can use when you don’t have access to firearms or a way to contact the police.
The items in this list can be carried at all places, which means that you can be prepared for an emergency at all times.
7 Survival Defense Weapons That Could Save Your Life
A nice sharp survival knife is obviously the first weapon in our list. You can find it everywhere, and almost every person owns at least one of them. Whether they use a kitchen knife or Swiss Army knives, everyone has this weapon.
Granted, this tool is used for many other things, but a small pocket knife can come very handy in case of an emergency. You can keep it concealed in the emergency backpack or even your pocket.
The best thing is, a knife will not only serve you for defense but survival too. If you are strayed and need to prepare your meals or open something, having a knife is great news.
2. Pepper Spray
Did you know that you can even make your own pepper spray? Depending on how strong it is, a pepper spray can even be used as a defense tool against a bear, not to mention a human.
The pepper spray causes the eyes to close instantly and swell, making it very hard for the attacker to see you. It comes at a very affordable cost and is an excellent tool to have handy.
However, know that pepper sprays cannot really stand extreme cold or hot temperatures, and this may weaken the effectiveness they have.
Your belt can be used for self-defense in addition to a fashionable clothing element or a way to keep your pants where they are. Many of us wear a belt, so in case of an emergency, make sure to remember this as a great survival tool.
The best belt weapon is one with a heavy metal buckle and wide leather. You can inflict some damage with the buckle, and you need the length to be able to swing hard enough.
And not only that. You can use the belt to tie someone up, too.
Tip: You could go a step further and get a real Tactical Belt.
4. Stun Gun
A stun gun looks different from a regular gun, so it should be hard to notice. Still, you should keep this weapon concealed so that it does not draw too much attention.
The stun gun is not lethal, and it is a much better alternative to the pepper spray. Temperature changes cannot affect its effectiveness, and you can easily scare away and fight off attackers with the thousands of volts of electricity.
Remember – your safety always comes first. Even if you do not have any of these great weapons to defend yourself, your best weapon is always your brain.
Use what you have handy to survive!
